​"Roots Go Deep" was recorded and released in 2024. Janelle recorded and mixed this herself in her at-home-studio. This song expresses a heart cry of wanting to burn for Jesus in and out of season! 
"One More Step" was recorded and released in 2023. This song is about finding freedom in letting go of fear or whatever it is holding you back! Sometimes God's path for our life can feel mysterious but trusting Him is always worth it.

Janelle's "All I Need" album was recorded in India. Yes, the country, India.
Janelle was able to record five songs in with Daniel Gadal from Den Studios in Siliguri, India.
Janelle never intended to record her music in India, but God revealed a piece of His character to her that can be found in Psalm 37:4 that says, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart."

Thoughts from Janelle

Hey, it's me, Janelle...
One thing I love is having conversations with people. It amazes me how there's such a vast variety of personalities and people out in the world yet, at the same time, we all share so many things and are so similar! Any time I meet someone, if time and circumstances permit, I will start diving into the deeper questions. Questions about purpose, beliefs, and their story. Questions about what makes them tick or what makes them wake up every morning. I don't ask these questions to criticize or judge but merely to figure them out. People are one of the greatest puzzles there are to me and each person adds a new piece to the puzzle. The more people, the bigger the puzzle gets and the more the picture of what's being put together comes into focus.
I like to think beyond just the physical realm. I believe that we are all eternal creatures. We all have a soul and were meant to live forever. Not everyone believes this way, but the reality is, we all have an eternal destination--heaven or hell. The eternal state of our souls drives me to think beyond this life with a pursuit of trying to pull heaven down to earth. Jesus came and lived a perfect life and then sacrificed His perfect life on behalf of us. He spent three days in the grave and then was resurrected and now reigns with God in heaven. Soon He is coming back to take all those who have relationship with Jesus with Him. Because of Jesus, we all have the opportunity to have a personal relationship with Him.
That's what makes these deep conversations possible. The fact that, at the end of every conversation, I have hope that what I'm investing in the eternal realm, will last forever. Everything on earth will pass away. But what is done for the sake of the everlasting Kingdom will remain for all eternity. What are you investing in?
